Jenny has been teaching and training in the Atlanta area since 1991. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Lake Erie College with a double major of Equestrian Teacher/Trainer and Equestrian Facilities Management and a minor in Psychology. She also is a Graduate 'A' Life Member of the United States Pony Club. She has trained with many distinguished riders, including Scott Hofstetter, Anne Kursinski, Patty Stovel, Vicki and Wayne Roycroft in Australia, Lisa Anderson, Denny Emerson, Betsy Steiner, Torrence Watkins-Fleshman, Melanie Smith, Kim Walnes, Chrystolotte Boylen, Peter Gray, Ralph Hill, and clinics with George Morris. Jenny uses her knowledge to teach and train based on the level of the horse and the rider.  She takes the time to understand where horse and rider are coming from and what their goals are to help them achieve success. She strongly believes that there must be an understanding of what is being asked of the horse and rider for positive accomplishments to be attained.
Professional Recommendation
Within the equine industry, it is not often that one finds a person with the degree of talent and competency that Jenny has. She has the ability to inspire confidence and enthusiasm in every student and conducts her lessons in a manner becoming a true professional. She is able to share her vast knowledge of horsemanship with her students, which in turn produces better educated and well-rounded riders.  Jenny's training methods are excellent. She works and trains according to "Classical Methods" and never resorts to tricks or short-cuts. She has been very successful in bringing along problem horses that other trainers have given up on. She projects an air of quiet confidence during her training sessions which always proves quite effective with the project at hand. Horses trained by Jenny develop from sometimes unruly, unmanageable animals to quiet, well-mannered horses that are able to draw their confidence from her, and get on with their training. Jenny is able to improve both the temperament and physical ability of each horse she trains.

Customer Testimonial
Hunters Glen, off of Hickory Flat Road, borders the new city of Milton and is very close to Hwy 140. Its lush, well maintained pastures, with four board fencing is such a bonus in these days of minimal space. Jenny Troyer Gelb not only understands the horses' primary needs, but also her students. I have known her for over 12 years and can honestly say, in my opinion, she really knows what she is doing. Her lessons are always educational and not critical, which is a strong confidence builder. She has lesson horses to suit different levels of experience and an indoor ring, so there are very few days that can't be riding days. I really enjoy spending time at this farm and would recommend her services to anyone looking for a sound stable with a non-crazy horse person!!
